We breathe an average of 20,000 each day, but as easy as it is, there’s a chance that you will be not carrying it out right. Add the actual fact our atmosphere, that used to consist of 21% oxygen, is slowly but steadily declining. If you live in a major city, the quality of oxygen is even worse.
Many of us will not think about breathing as it is the most natural act any living thing does. However, if you are not breathing correctly and you don’t get enough oxygen, this can actually contribute to poor health.
A Very Important Nutrient
There are two major nutrients that we should always have in our body: oxygen and water. An average person can live 30 days without food, five to six days without water, in support of two minutes without oxygen. With oxygen, we get the power we have to live when it’s coupled with food.
Having low degrees of oxygen is an enormous problem because this is the type of environment that a lot of pathogens, including viruses, bacteria, and cells that cause cancer flourish.
There are three causes of being anaerobic:
1. Poor Quality of Food: A lot of the food we consume today is harmful – usually there’s lack of bioelectricity, essential enzymes, and oxygen. It’s time to change your daily diet and begin eating healthy, such as foods which contain high levels of oxygen, such as:
- Sprouts (e.g. sunflower and buckwheat sprouts)
- Leafy greens
- Raw fruits and raw vegetables
2. Poor Quality of Air: The oxygen we breathe is polluted and it becomes more and more toxic every day. As a result, oxygen content is lower.
3. Poor Breathing Technique: Many of us don’t know how to breathe properly. In fact, research shows almost everyone only use 15% of the capacity of their lungs, leading to blood that does not have enough oxygen.
Oxygen Levels Affect Our Health
We not only need oxygen for breathing, but also for our health, particularly for cellular respiration. Needless to say, without oxygen we can not survive. The body employs this nutritional in the mobile mitochondria, allowing your body to create adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This ATP is the power currency of your body which is essential to our day to day lives for us to execute daily duties as well as physiological functions.
Since oxygen is needed on the cellular level, it is a simple need that people should receive and use. Low levels and low quality of oxygen can provide symptoms, such as exhaustion, body weakness, and circulation problems. But most importantly, we cannot maintain life without oxygen.
