Surprisingly, Miranda’s best beauty tips don’t come from her many years of experience behind-the-scenes and on-set – but from her family. “My grandmother launched me to noni once i was 13 and I would drink the juice every day,” she explains. “If I experienced a sunburn, I’d put it directly on my skin and notice how effective it was. I also noticed a different in my energy. Right now, the Noni Glow Face Essential oil is the best. It has many of these great natural oils: rosehip, pomegranate, sea buckthorn, and certainly noni remove. I utilize it every evening, I awaken, and my epidermis generally is glowing.” Her other longtime habit is one she credits to growing up in Australia. “We take sunlight protection pretty significantly,” she says. “I’m always in a huge head wear and cover my face whenever you can. I take advantage of Actinica, which is 50+ and protects against UVA and UVB.”

When confronted with a surprise breakout that she must nix by another morning hours, Miranda is strongly in the pro-oils camp. “I’ve noticed that a lot of my customers in America tend to be afraid of them, but they’re such a good source of vitamins,” she says. Her stance has scientific backing, too; relating to dermatologist dermatologist Dr. Jessie Cheung, director of the Jessie Cheung MD Dermatology & Laser Center, the composition of certain oils makes them perfect for clearing up pimples. “The use of oils for cleansing is dependant on the scientific concept that like dissolves like, so essential oil will dissolve the sebum that clogs up our skin pores and cause acne, and without discomfort,” she says.
“If I’m getting a breakout, I love to balance the pH of my epidermis with my Noni Shine Essential oil,” adds Miranda. “I find that that really helps, even with treating it over night. I put it on after cleansing, misting, exfoliating, and moisturizing – I’ll use my Exfoliating Cream every second night time, too.”

Before she hit the Met Gala red carpet, Miranda gave fans a sneak peek at her unconventional prep: mask and ballet.
