What happens to your body when you quit smoking?

Smoking is dangerous. It kills. We all know that. But why do people still do it? What exactly happens to your body when you quit smoking?

The answer can vary greatly, depending on who you ask and exactly how long a person have been smoking and the type of the smoker he’s – social, medium, heavy etc. But there’s an over-all consensus, it increases your health very quickly.

On the common, a smoker will consume 13 cigarettes per day and because cigarettes aren’t going any cheaper the total amount you spend onto it eventually accumulates. It could both hurt the body as well as your pocket.

There already are lots of campaigns that make an effort to help people to quit smoking, but sometimes painting a far more detailed picture of the advantages of stopping a task could be a much better way, so we present you this interactive infographic that our friends from JumpStart Georgia produced.
